Support the Work
There are three primary ways you can support the work today:
Spread the word, so others may hear.
Donate, so work gets done.
Setting up the necessary legal entities and structures to be able to support churches in lasting ways is not easy, and requires significant funding. At this time we are predominantly volunteer-based, and so your support goes a very long way to making real things happen.
Make a donation
Thank you for considering a donation. You have three ways to give:
Direct Giving: Use the form below to donate directly to us by credit card. Eligible donors will receive a single, consolidated tax receipt at the end of the year.
Interac E-Transfer (preferred): You can donate directly via e-transfer at giving@thegoodtable.ca. If you would like a tax receipt at year-end, please include your name and address in the e-transfer message.
Through Canada Helps: If you’d prefer to receive a tax receipt sooner, you can give via Canada Helps. Receipts will be issued immediately by Canada Helps.
Budget Priorities
Your donation will be used to fund the following projects.

Our initial funding priority is to establish the legal and financial structures necessary to receive charitable status from the Canada Revenue Agency. We have been able to begin this work already thanks to the generous support of some early partner churches.

Next, we will use funds to continue facilitating in-person gatherings across the country, as we welcome more voices to the table.

Once the basics are in place and we have begun to facilitate church relationships, we will begin paying our Executive Director (currently serving voluntarily) and start to develop resources to assist churches in their work.
